Hello fellow Af goers.
I know I'm not too well known as I only occasionaly make posts, (I mostly like to stay out of flaming wars, which there seems to be a lot of lately) but I'm bored at home and figured I'd introduce myself and my plans for my car. As you all can tell from my handle and the subject of this thread I have a 1971 Camaro SS (I know this is just a claim for now but I'll post some pics of my baby soon). There really aren't too many cars like it on the road which gives it a nice origionality factor, not to mention the thing is shaped like a bullet. It's got around 167,000 miles which is kind of a lot, but it's still a solid machine.
The origional owner had a rebuild done to the stock 350 back in 1984 (the same year i was born!) and while he was at it he had 8.5-1 ratio pistons put in and dropped a Rayjay turbo on it with a Martin turbo intake. This is old stuff so many won't know about it, I sure as hell didn't. 20 years have gone by since this was done and the block and turbo have pretty much had it.
So here comes the fun part. I had a well known local performance shop (Wilkey's for you Az ppl) build me a new 350. The new motor is made up of: Dart iron eagle heads,a holley dominator intake, proform 1.6 ratio roller rockers, hydrolic anti-pumpup lifters, an aggressive isky cam, (not sure on exact cam specs) KB 10.1 hyperutectic pistons and will be topped with a holley 750 HP carb. The builder of this motor has done quite a few configurations like this and claims it will produce near 450-465 Hp and around 440-450 tq. (although I have no way of proving this untill I can get the motor on a dyno) This will be connected to a th400 3 spd tranny that has been pretty much worked over. It's more tranny than I'll ever need which is a good thing right?
I'm also going to do a complete rebuild of the interior, exterior and suspension of the car as well, but first the motor goes in cause whats the point if it don't go fast right...heh. I'll go ahead and shutup now to save you all from this boring thread. :) Let me know what you all think, and if someone will tell me how to post a pic I've got one of what mine will look like sooner or later.

The motor has already been built and payed for. I've actually had the thing sitting in storage for a year or so now. It ran me a grand total of 3000 bucks. Not too shabby. It still needs all the appliances, hoses, plugs, etc...but that's all about to be collected shortly. Arizona's wonderfull summer climate has been keeping me from doing much work to the car, but things are cooling off ever so slowly and work will continue within a couple weeks. Any advice on how to post a pic? (i is dumb, dumb as hell)
P.S. I'm also adding a 100 shot of the giggly via holley's sniper kit. Do I need it? Probly not. Will it get me into trouble? Probly.
