clutch cable

my son has a 1986 mustang. we need the clutch cable the cable for a 1986 is different then he has.does anyone know what year clutch cable has a loop at the peddle end.and we need the piece that holds the cable and screws into the fire wall. he is going nuts trying to find it . thanks
