There is an extra socket next to the reverse lights that is empty. I was wondering what that was for, and if it is possible to run the brake lights to that socket for 5 total brake lights?

you can make a 5th brake light by finding the red blue wire on truck lid and run off that. it takes the same bulb as the back up light. or you have the three wire the drill 1 5/8 hole and put a bulb in.

That extra socket is for rear fog lights which come standard in germany! I hear its only legal to have one on drivers side, here in the states, but I wired up both! it requires a euroswitch to convert, but they are cool, not to mention bright as hell! you can also wire them up as extra brake lights which I did also, pretty cool! well have fun!
