My trac-control will automaticly turn it self off now. I don't know everything but I know it isn't suppose to do that because it never done it before. If I try to turn the trac back on the button has no effect on the system??? Any solutions on what to do?

Does the traction system engage on its own? I have dealt with this before and it turned out to be the WSS (wheel speed sensor). P0035 I believe, most times the ABS light will come on, and the TC will engage for no reason.
May also be your EBCTM (electronic traction control and brake module

It's likely one of the wheel speed sensors. It's still sending a signal, but it takes a minute or two of driving before the ebtcm decides it doesn't like what it's seeing. My car did this for 85,000 miles before the sensor stopped sending anything at all. Now my tcs is always off immediately. Your options are ignore it or replace the bearing assemblies that include the speed sensor.
It is also possible a large pothole type incident knocked the ebtcm around a bit too- it's right by the front left strut iirc.
A professional scan tool will read the codes for the suspension stuff in addition to the powertrain codes that most cheap units do. They will tell you where the problem lies fairly well.

:2cents:The Traction button will POP-UP (on the console)when
its needed. example: rain weather. If your stuck in sand just push (down) on the traction button, this will turn off TRACTION control and a light on the dash will read: TRACTION OFF

Mine did what yours did. The light was off for a few minutes. Then the trac off light came on. It ended up being the pressure regulator valvue. Cost me about $800. I wish it was more like $200 like an earlier post said.

my trac light and the abs light are stuck on, and my abs is definately not working. had car on scope at dealership, and said open speed sensor, left rear. Had hub replaced. didnt fix the problem. back on scope, still says open sensor with brand new hub. i was then told that it may be the harness. i can get it for $90 and do it myself, but i dont want to spend $90 if it is not gonna fix the problem. any ideas??
