my 94 sunbird sputters like crazy when I try to start the car and will stall if i don't keep on the gas. I changed the spark plugs and the car ran normal for 3 days ,then one morning the car went back to sputtering. the check engine light gives the code for a MAP sensor after 1 or 2 minutes, i then changed the plug wires but no luck , Sputtering happened both times when car was cold and started in the morning.

Change the MAP Sensor and then clean the idle air control motor located on the throttle body. Spray it with carb. cleaner and let it dry. Don't pull on the plunger or you will get it out of calibration. Once you clean and replace it you should see an improvement in the idling and response.
