1996 Camry -- How to open Dash

The "D" light on the dash that shows position of Automatic Shift is gone.

Would greatly appreciate any one pointing me in the direction of any instructions/manual on how to open the dash above the steering wheel.

So far I have seen two screws above the steering column and one behind the Climate Temperature setting knob.

All I got from reading that thread is that there are lots of folks driving around with their "D" light gone...

If I wanted to replace that bulb myself, what is the procedure for opening up that part ?

I think nipsirc is referring to my poor description of screws under the top of the sun shield being a possible way to get to it by removing the cluster.

Here's an excerpt from that same thread I referred to before but with the INSTRUCTIONS.

I was able to find a detailed instruction on removal of the "Cluster Finish Panel" for the 95' Camry. Unfortunately I am not able to attach the pdf file here. The "Cluster Finish Panel" is the dark hard plastic cover that covers the instrument cluster.

There are two screws that are clearly visible on the under side of the panel just in the section in front of the instruments. According to the instructions there are two more screws just below the AC/Fan controls. To access these screws, one will need to remove the "Center Cluster Finish Panel", which is the piece of cover that surround the radio. The "Center Cluster Finish Panel" is held in by two clips on the bottom edge of the panel.

The instruction says to "Tape the screwdriver tip before use." I assume the "taped" tip prevent scratching the finish?
