Newbie Alert!

Ok, here's the thing: I'm DESPERATE to do up an old beetle, I've got my eye on one that needs a fair amount of restoration work but I really don't know where to start! Can anybody help me get started and/or give me a few pointers as to what I should look out for?

Rust, Rust and more Rust dont buy it if it has alot of rust that means the people really didnt take care of it. But also if you are like me im starting from the ground up so its all based on how far back you want to start and how far you want to go!
