For starters, performance. The higher the altitude, the less air your car is getting, which is the reason you hear about corrected e/t's
How long your car will last, absolutely. I live in Michigan and they use salt on the roads here (lots of other places also). Salt make vehicles rust quick. Not to mention around here, there is a good possibility of a deer turning your car in prematurely. Or the big tree in the ditch when your car slides off the road from the ice. (Sorry 89, these are the only two examples I could think of)
Maintenace also. I a week or two I have to check the antifreeze in my car and truck to make sure it's good below freezing.

I live in the middle east in a country which some of you may have heard of called the United Arab Emirates, and yes where i live affects absolutely everything in the car. for starters the 40degree heat minimum every single day means that the engine isn't running full capacity due to the heat, second the sand all over the land gets into the engine bay and as a result its impossible to keep your engine looking clean for longer than a few hours, third the sand scratches the paint so bad sometimes and leaves these tiny scratches all over...I could go on but i won't, so yes where you live does affect the car.

I lived in Santa Monica, Cali and at no time did I feel crowded although the super cold Pacific Ocean did cause some shrinkage for my package but I have heard Arizona is the best state to own a car due to dry moderate Temps.

Took mine through this past NJ winter, was fun lol. Also cuz I plan on not selling my car, just owning her til death, so it's not like I care too much about resale value or nething. Was all I had to get around so i did (i wouldnt mind a 100-200 dollar beater truck just for fun tho)

I disasgree. we do have good weather, but we also have smog, monster traffic, bad roads, etc that could lead to deterioration of your vehicle.

shit thats all my car has is a 3" downpipe.. Its anoying though.. I need ta get a muffler on there..
There are a million different geographical aspects that can affect a cars appearance, reliability, and performance.. Most of them have already been named im sure..
dust, salt (they use a lot here in winter) altitude, heat, cold, if you live on a farm and use a lot of farm fuel its hard on everything, gravel roads, how well the roads are paved etc etc etc
