Cracked Brake Rotors???

Hey Guys I did a search but I couldn't find anything??? I'm going to swap out the rear trailing arms on my 91CRX but before I do that I want to buy some crossed drilles or slotted rotors. But everyone I talk to keeps tellling me not beacuse they tend to crack or warp. This one guy said his cracked one winter. He said that the heat and hard cold cuased the crack. He also said they warped real bad. I got this info from another forum. I guess what I want is to see if anyone here has any good expirience with crossed drilled rotors?????

I really would like to upgrade..But If I am going to have problems like this I probably wont.

drilled rotors do crack easyer to due to the heat. Thats why better companys no longer cross drill they dimple, you get the same effect without the risk of cracking or warping.

"dimple" ??? I've never heard of that. Do you know what companies have these dimples rotors???

Its a fairly new thing, First time I saw it was last year I believe. I know PowerSlot does it, and theres a few other name brands that do it.

theres one company that the dimples are diamond shaped, they look pimp

why have either?

heat dispursement, faster or more efficent cooling
