Possible suspension and tire problems?

I had my 2003 Runner parked in a lot tonight and there was an exact model parked next to mine. They are both the Sport Edition but the other one was a V8 and mine is a V6. Anyways, I noticed that theirs was about 4 inches higher off the ground than mine was. The other one looked newer as the tires were all cleaned so I am assuming that it is a 2004 maybe an 05, but I doubt it. Could there be something wrong with the suspension on my 2003 or did they use different suspension on the later models? The ride doesn't seem as comfy as it was when I bought it but I just figured that the car is just now broken. Anyone have any idea why this might have occurred? I thought that maybe the other owner put lifts or something on theirs. I wouldn't have noticed but they were parked side by side. Very strange. I also find it that my tires don't seem to hold their tire pressure. I have had them all checked out but nothing is leaking. I fill them to 32lbs and in about a month or so they are usually down to somewhere between 29-31 and I rotate them religiously. Something definately weird is going on with this truck.

Nothing weird about your tire pressure. As long as all the tires loose pressure at the same rate, you are fine. After all, you didn't loose alot of pressure. Might just be the difference between the ambient temperature on the days you measured it. One month can be the difference between 100 F and 70 F.

As far as the difference in vehicle height goes, I assume your vehicle is level front to back and left to right. If so, then one possible explanation is that either your truck or the other has the X-REAS suspension. That setup has different shocks (and probably springs) than the same truck without it. Another possibility is the towing package. One without it would be different than one with.

These were both the Sport Edition so they both have the X-reas suspension. Everything seems level so I am not going to worry about it. THanks.

The engine difference might be the reason for the difference. Since the vehicles weigh different amounts, they would have different springs.
