I found more pics of the Shelby Hertz:

Sorry this one is out of focus:

(the hood prop is a piece of pencil lead!)

I hated the stripe decals on this kit. They were so thin, and wouldn't fit around the scoop. Next time, I'm painting stripes like that. I don't know why I keep trying the decals, the first model I did had painted stripes.

That looks great! Closer pics of the motor and some more body pic's would be great.

Unfortunately, I no longer have this model so I can't take any more of the engine. I'll try to get more body shots up in a little bit!

Cropped another pic to get a closer shot of the engine:

Wish I had a better pic, the engine was the best part of the model :disappoin

you should have painted it red with gold stripes, then i would really really like it, it would have been an exact replica of my dads, oh and another thing, is it auto? check it out http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/508362/10

I made it to be a replica of the original Hertz Shelbys, which came in Hertz colors, black and gold. They did make them in various colors, but the black and gold one is pretty much quintessential.

You should build one in red and gold! Paint the stripes though, the decals are no good.
