Hello all; I am new here to this forum, I have traded in my Cadillac STS for my 03 Yukon, trust me that was not a hard thing to do {{{LOVE MY YUKON}}}}. I have a question for you all. . .
On my STS, I was able to get codes from the 'DIC'...I was wondering has anyone investigated whether we can do the same proceedure with the Yukons? Is there a special sequence to get the OBDII codes from the DIC?
Thank you in advanced!

Since no one answered, I'll take a crack at it.
I'd just get an OBDII scanner. You can use it on any OBDII car (which is basically all cars manufactured since '97 or some year around there). You'd get a lot more information than what the dash would tell you anyway.
If you really want to find out if there's a way to get the codes to display in the dash, get the factory service manuals from Helm. I buy them for every car I own - a very worthwhile investment if you do your work yourself.
