I understood your sarcasm. Believe me it's RED now... I don't have newer pics.

I made big mistake when painted the body... I missed mold lines on front bumper and sanded it to bare plastic after body was primed. I supposed it hardly can be seen under paint. But red is very translucent and can't hide these dark spots... So what to do now? Maybe sand off the paint on the front end and prime it again. I don't want to screw up whole paint job

Tamiya directions describe interior painting like this:
Looks crazy, isn't it?

I like the gray interior better. :)

Black would look good, I think.

Here, guys, I uploaded my 959 pic for you. I saw it last month at the L.A. Car Show...

Sorry about the glare at the right, they had it in a shadow box, making it hard to find a good angle. The car in front is a 356 and the one in back is a 996 Turbo. :D Enjoy, and be inspired!

There is a site of German exotic car retailer. You can find pics of 959 in different body and interior colors.
http://www.auto-salon-singen.de/Stocklist_Porsche.htm

www.mobile.de is also good source but lack of pics quality

afaik only 5 or 6 959 was imported to US. This is fake 959 (bodykit based on standard 911 Carrera)

Yeah , auto-salon-singen is very nice (i have been there "in the real world" not only online) , but they don't have all the color combinations , but their photos can be helpful , anyway www.mobile.de is IMO the best source if you want to buy a car in europe...

And about 959 being imported to the us i can't agree with you , there are no 959s imported into us , not even a single one. If someone will , he wouldn't be able to drive it anyway , maybe someone got a sportversion for track usage , but i don't think someone will pay so much money and go through all this to murder a car like that on the track...

Bill Gates have one :D
I also saw ad about 959 offered on the auction in US. And it's legal to buy a car for "club racing events" even if you not intend to do so

I'm proud to post some "raw" pics of the Porsche.
It's only thin coat of paint and that's why it has some "pinkish" shade.
I will add some more later to get solid red color.

Very nice! Are the wheels staying white?

It looks great next to your 911! A fine pair! :)

Some cars on pics I found have white wheels, other ones have silver. I decided white looks good with red body

Will look great once the rear wing is painted! Yeah, I have seen white wheels, though usually on a replica! (The 5 speed boxes give them away!)
