New GT4 release date?

Now its suppose to be Dec 14th or something. What the heck. Grrr. Does anyone have any NEW info? All I can find is old stuff. And will it be the full version? I heard it won't be, but who can you trust?

well if it is in december than that is good for me because i go on vacations in november but will be back in dec. so i get it then.

I got one of those $10 wheels when i got gt3 and they are crap. Unless they are alot better than the one i got they make the game alot harder, due to crappy response. I think there is one good steering wheel but it's $150 I think.

Btw, you can read Gamespy, Gamespot and the IGN update on GT4 and they all say it still has the LAN feature. So unless PD dropped the feature a month before its release and after these articles it is highly unlikely.

Nope! now february 12th 2005, pushed back again, went to reserve it and asked them at ebgames and they said that they have a girl directly from sony that goes to their store and she said they had some problems so it was pushed back to feb 12th. and thats what the computer (register at the store) says also at gamestop.

The online mode was dropped. They said hopefully the next GT will have online racing & by that time it might be PS3

I think he's talking about a work around / crack that allows you to play 'LAN' but use it online. Theres a similar work around for the original Halo so you can play online.

But you're right, there is no official online mode. Its a shame.

Sony's site has 03/05 for the release date, which really sucks. Japan gets it on December 28th unless that has changed, but we have to wait untill March.

For the wait, the price should only be $39.99 instead of $49.99.
