Today, was a good day.

I'll explain why.
I woke up late... got to work late. That's nothing new, it's quite the norm for me. Part of the perks of working for your mom. Flexible schedules.
Turns out we only had to do a few things today at work, and the job site wasn't too far from home. So I opted to meet my partner down at the site while he drove the Van. Obviously I got there first, and read my horoscope for the day and the funnies in the paper. You know, catching up on current events. :p
1:00PM rolls around, we're done with work. And I am boosting to the $1 Chinese Take-Out not too far up the road. I pull in, parking right up front. NICE!
I get out, some crickety old asian guy mobs me, and scares me actually. "YOU SELL?" he says. "Oh no..." I reply with a smile. "NO, YOU SELL? I like."
"Um, no thanks."
I go inside, there's no line for waiting. SCORE! I order my Half/Half Chow Mein and Flied Lice, with some Beef Broccoli and Orange chicken. I'm paying the good man, and I look outside the guy opened my door and is checking out the car alittttllle tooc lose for my comfort. I wanted to go say something but I was about to leave anywho so no need to start something.
I take off, and cruise down the street. Then I notice a dark Integra gleaming in the sunlight. OOOoooo I think. I slow down. The left lane ahead is clear at a light. I hop over and he stops behind me. I give it a quick little rev.
Light goes green I pull ahead rather normal. Jump to the right lane when I could and soon as I did he guns it, I watched in my mirror black smoke come shooting out of his car. Hmmm.. Turbo?? I think, as I mash it in 3rd gear (should of been in 2nd but i was crusing sorta) and I walk away and shut it down at 65-70mph. I slow down, he pulls up and asks what I run in the 1/4.
I told him I wasn't sure, possibly mid 12s on high boost. I explained to him I was running low boost right now (7psi, stock). He liked my car and said it was quick. I gave him a thumbs up as I made my turn and told him I'd see him later.
Nice guy, he had a '94+ Integra. Dark Green with c/f hood. Not sure if he really was turbo'd or not. I didn't hear a BOV coming from him. All I can hear is my car when I'm on it... So who knows?
A good day indeed. Except my Chinese Take-Out was all mixed up in the box when I got home... oh well. It all comes out the same color in the end.

As for the smoke, his car is flooding for some reason. Black smoke is flood smoke, blue is oil smoke. [edit-and white is water getting in the cylinders].

the reason why redneck though it was turboed from black smoke is becasue when they run rich from hitting boost or whenever you let off, you usually see a puff of black smoke ( or fireball ) coming out of the tailpipes. remember turbo cars usually runs 11:1 air fuel ratio.
