I know the ac relays are on the firewall inside the engine bay, but does anyone know what the relays in the glovebox are? More specifically - where would my brake light relay be?
thanks

Haynes (booo) has none of this stuff. Anyone know if there are relays for the light?

I'm not very familiar with GM wiring but I don't think the brake light circuit would be a heavy enough circuit to need a relay. I would guess that the circuit is wired straight from the switch to the lights.

I would think that would be a lot of current going through a switch. Wouldn't it get hot?

According to the Helms manual, the schematic indicates that there is no relay for the brake lights, only the stop lamp switch located under the dash. However, there is a relay for the high mount stop lamp on some S10 vehicles, I can't be sure whether this is for just the pick-ups of includes the Blazer.
This relay is in the underhood fuse block

where under the dash is the stop light switch?
My 96 Jimmy doesn't have an underhood fuseblock - it has 3 underhood ac relays though. My fuseblock is in between the driver's door and dash

the switch is located at the top of the brake pedal.
