I was mad last night and stormed out... got in my yukon and turned it loose got sideways.. and POP POP POP POP!...
4 teeth broke and one pin in the rear end and hurting for money i am asking anyone who would know were to get a new rear end (gear set and ring and pinnon) for cheap? - Chevy/GM place wants 238$ for gear set, 668.10$ for the Ring and pinnon set.. - i work in a furniture factory and furniture is just not the place to be right now (avearge of 32hrs a week of work) so i pretty much have no money... and that is my only means of transportation.
Thanks all.

Getting the parts from the dealer would be your most expensive option.
Your least expensive route would probably be to get the whole rear from a salvage yard.
Alternatively, you can get the parts from a mail-order place like Summit or Jegs. A ring and pinion package (with gears, seals, bearings, fluid, etc.) is around $300. As far as the other broken gears (I guess in the differential itself?), try www.gearsrus.com (actually, you should try them for all of it).

i just called them... and told them that all i needed was an axel gear (the gear that connects to the spider gears) and they said they can get me a spider gear set for about $100 - thats a lot better than my previous quote from salvage yard of $1000 plus exchange

I'm surprised a salvage yard wanted that much for a rear, and it's especially strange that they wanted a core from you. What part of the country are you in? I've got friends in the salvage biz in the Northeast. If you're somewhat local I can see what I can dig up. Rears are not really shippable.
It sounds like your situation is improving, though. Still sucks, but not as much.
Good luck.

So did you just put a spool in it? Or a used open diff? Just curious.....

whole new gear pack (used my ring and pinion..) everything else was removed the old gar pack and housing, and then the new gar pack housing was bolted onto my ring... or is that the pinion.. no i think it is the ring...

That's the ring - bolts to the differential (the "gear pack"). Glad you got off cheap.
