Sorry but not a noob Q

Ok I'm not retarded but I need in writing that you can't bi-turbo a laser. I didn't know where to go for this one cuz I deal with my honda's and nothing much outside of that. Anywho the reason why I'm posting this is cuz theres some dipshit kid in my auto mechanics class that "SWEARS TO THE HEAVENS" that he saw a twin turbo laser. Anyone have anything to say about this. I just want him to shut up about it. thanks so the patience

it can happen with the right money, you can basically do anything with enough money. but i doubt there is actually one runnin around the streets. probably mayhave MAYHAVE! saw one at a car show.

You can tell him you believe him...but also tell him that there are single turbo lasers much, much faster than the twin turbo one ;). I'm sure you could do a custom setup like that, but it would not be at all beneficial when you can already run mid 7s on single turbo DSMs.

yeah see I know its possible but I really didn't get the point. Plus won't you end up losing hp doing that??? He explained it being like dual t33's or something just way bigger then what my mind says is logical

it can be done. not that hard, but its not worth it AND i dont believe he saw one.

there was a guy on here awhile back selling a manifold for a TT setup for an eclipse/talon/laser that looked kinda interesting! but on the other hand i wouldnt doubt the kid saw one, depending how nice he says it was and whether it was in real life or in a magazine/car show i might believe him!

on most the bi turbo setups like on audi's and what not dont they have a small turbo that spools fast in line right before a larger one that spools a lil later but overlaps and takes upto redline? woudlnt something like that work decent on a eclipse?
