I got some coil overs for my 93 prelude and it took me about 4 hours to install using the stock struts. The biggest pain in the ass where to get the balljoints separated from the control arm (try not to damage the boot). Then i used a spring compressor at the shop i work at. after that it was easy if you follow the instructions on installing the sleeves and setting the springs to the ride height. I recommend that you get some good front struts (adjustable and made for lowering the car) because my stock front struts are banging like hell when i hit a small crack, etc. Good luck.

Aight. Right now I've just got lowering springs with about a 2 1/4 inch drop....so is it the same difficulty to get those out as supposed to stock springs? Will I need a spring compressor for installation? What tools do i need?

well really u dont need the spring compressor ... its more of a safety tool ... if you got the balls to un screw the nut holding the spring together (w/o compressor) :naughty:then go right ahead .... oh and u might wanna watch ur hand (dont want fast nut flying into it) and might wanna put a crate or bucket infront of the nut so when it flys u dont lose it
