Hello,

I have an 87 stang GT and I am having problems stopping. I really need some help. I'm lost.Since a couple of days ago I seem to have no pressure when I press the brakes. Well when I first push it has some but not enough. And before I stop the brake peddal it touching the floor and I have to pump them in order to stop. I dont know if it would be a bad booster or master cylinder or what. If anyone could help please do.

Well first off, how much brake pad is left? Do you have any leaks? Is it pulsating or screeching? Need more info.

I bet it's a bad master cylinder!

Well the rotors and pads were replaced a little over a year ago. the drums and shoes were replace shortly after. the car was not driven at all until 2 months ago because of a long deployment over seas. there is no screeching or pulsating, but there is some moisture on the booster around where the master cylinder connects to it.
