1999 A4 2.8L/not 1999.5, i need help with some engine things

can someone help me with what i can do to make the car sound alot louder and have that little zesty sound or kick to it... something that wont cost me a whole bundle..thanks

ditch the airbox and throw a cone filter onto your maf... not good for performance.. but it'll give it some sound..
