I have heard that you can apply a small amount of wax to make chrome rims much shiner after they are washed??? Im not to sure on this one, if you can what about silver rims? Thanks

Just use windex on chrome rims, they'll shine just fine.

Sure,

It's just fine and a great idea to apply wax to your rims! It will help in keeping them clean and make them easier to clean next time you wash as the wax will aid in preventing dirt and brake dust to embed into the surface! Of course, you are adding shine as well!

Just use a good quality wax and maybe wax the wheels every three or four washes for continued protection!

Another hint..you can wax your windows as well! Just a light application will do the trick!

I wax my rims, mine are powder coated gunmetal, so they shine real nice :) especially when im drivin down the road, u can see the reflecton off my rims :biggrin:
