my friend has a 2000 Intrepid, the problem is ... most everytime she hits the brakes, the oil light comes on. Has anyone seen this, or better yet - know how to fix it.

Hey, I need to know what the oil level is on your dipstick. When you stop, the oil moves forward away from the pick-up tube to the oil pump. If it's low you will have cavitation. If it's full while on LEVEL ground, I have more to say.....

I changer her oil and filter ... still doing the same thing. I am thinking the little sensor might be loose or going bad. Where is the oil pressure sensor on this car - my forte is Hondas

Hi, I am the friend who is having trouble with the Intrepid. The 2.7L is the engine that I have. At first, I thought it had something to do with the level of oil as well, but the oil light stays on when I am sitting idle at a traffic light, and have my foot on the brakes. So, what about the TSB......I wanted some idea of what may be the problem before I take it somewhere, and get taken for a ride...:-)
