I have a touring A/T 350z without the navi sys and I was wondering if the navi sys plays DVD or videos cause my dealer said they can install one for close to $4000 and I think that’s a bit high just for a navi. When I can buy one of those radio head units that have a TV and gps, also do any one know if you can install the factory tire press. Gauge on a A/T, one of my friend also has a Z but it’s a 6speed and he has it built in can this be done to a A/T?

Well that is a ripoff considering the option from Nissan is 2000.00 but to answer your question it does not play DVD's

The TPS monitors the tire presure in each tire and displays it and warnings on the computer gage that shows speed, rpm's....... and it is not option like the NAV, it is something that comes with the 18 inch wheels (Performance, Touring 6MT and Track)

I picked the TT over the SC because:

SC is too loud and TT is silent until BOV goes off between shifts :)
TT is at full boost sooner than SC so more HP at 4-5K RPM range
SC robs power to make power (belt/pulley)
One more thing to break (Belt/pulley)
TT doesn't put engine under boost all of the time

The benifit of the SC is that it easier to install and cheaper, but the TT is the way to go :)

thanks for the tt/sc info, however i know that the tps is not in the navi sys or related to it, its in the center "pod" cluster but i was just wondering if you or any one elce on the fourm had herd of installing one; after market on a A/T cause i think its a bad ass option. and if i asked the dealer they would prob. give me a flat out no

I am not sure, but I would assume the wiring is in place and you would need the 4 wheel sensors and the receiving unit which I understand are not cheap, but worth looking into if you are interested.
