Nova or Duster

I am in the market for a lower priced muscle car. now, assuming i had the choice between the two of identical conditions, and assuming that in appearance, they are equal, which is the better choice?

is there a reason that Novas are worse than Dusters, such as weight, build quality, parts availability, transmission options, comfort or ergonomics?

remember i'm not talking about the looks of these cars, just all the other stuff.

There are plenty of high performance parts for both body styles. The MOPAR isn't quite as stout, chassis-wise, but all the necessary components are out there to make it competitive. The Nova is more popular, mainly due to the small block Chvy engine. The 360 Dodge can be built to make plenty of power, but the Chevy will make the same or more for less money.
If you're thinking BIG motor, the Dodge may have an edge. 440s are pretty hard to beat, even with a 454...
Overall, your options are better with GM cars.

Price wise, you can probably pick up a Duster cheaper than a Nova in similar condition. Chevy's high proformance parts are more plentiful and probably cheaper for used parts.
