Main Seal leak

1999 neon sport with 2.0L DOHC what kind of job is it to change a rear main seal? Could you give me a short walk trough of the procedure? And any specail tools needed.

You should go buy yourself a Haynes or Chiltons repair manual. It gives step by step instructions and has illustrations.

Are you sure its your rear main thats leaking??? If you can't pinoint it then don't do it. I had the oil pressue sending unit pissing oil -I thought it was the seal, luckily I replaced the sending unit and no more leak!

Rear mains are relatively commonly replaced seals for neons. To replace it you would need to completly remove the trans, then flexplate then seal. You need a special tool to install it correctly.
