2002 Taurus Factory Alarm

HI:
Hope someone can help. I have a 2002 Taurus SEL and have the key fob that activates the alarm system. Just recently, the alarm will just start going of by itself. I replaced the battery in the fob and checked the hood pin switch and it still does it. I thought that it might be some kind of radio frequency from somewhere setting it off, but it does it everywhere and about 2-3 times a day.
With the mechanics strike going on here in St. Louis you can't get them worked on. Is there a way to unhook it or is there a specific problem that might be causing this annoyance?

Most common problem is the door, hood, or trunk pins need cleaned or adjusted.

Where can I find the door, and trunk pins? I found the hood pin and it seems to be ok, because I unhooked it and the alarm still went off.
