K-Series: Distributor or Solid State Ignition

Does the K engine use a Solid State Ignition System or does it still use an old-school distributor?

It doesn't have a distributor.
"(Unlike the B-Series) The K series has a "headless" fuel system, meaning the regulator and return line are actually in the tank. There is no fuel return from under the hood."
Why does it matter though?
