stalling

I have a 2003 TB LS w/ 33000 miles. For the entire life of the vehicle i have noticed a very sparatic drop in rpm when gassing from a stand still. The best way to describe the action is that it is almost like a manual transmission truck starting from a standstill when not given enough gas, the RPM drops really low, the truck hesitates, but then you automatically give it a little more gas and it goes. On two occasions, the truck actually stalled, one time was when it was really cold, I was waiting for people to get in the car and i was tapping the gas really lightly, and it stalled. Another time i put the truck in reverse quickly after moving forward. I fear as the car ages it will start stalling, anyone have similar problems? I am most likely going to take the truck to the dealer, but due to the sparatic nature, i am sure they will say everything is just fine.

Take it to the dealer and don't let up until they fix it. I too am tired of "real" intermittent problems being ignored. It seems some of the technicians hook up the computer and if no codes are found then nothing is wrong. Just like the old days, you get paid to fix it, not work on it. I can "work on it" myself. You are paying for tools, talent, and positive results.

Hi i have that same problem i took my tb to the dealer and they told me everything was wrong except the reason why i brought there and that was cause my truck idle rought and stalled out a few of times. Dont let them tell u its the spark plugs or the spark plug boots cause i change those and i still have the same problems. I have 1 more thing to check and thats the fuel injectors i was told that might be the problem and i think that might be it.
