Defective Alero??

Hello All~
I'm not sure, but what in the world is going on with Alero? I've heard that GM stopped making Alero because of too many defective complaints. Yet, Alero is the most popular car in US. Since I bought this car, its been problems after problems.

-Fog light
-Engine shuts down
-Fuel leaking
-Coolant leaking into transmission
-Engine heating problem; when engine heats up little bit, the car will jerk
-Key stock in ACC position (there's this circle; off-acc-start-on)
-Park break stock (it stock where the thumb grip is)
-Low Tire pressure light; the dang thing would NOT go away!!!!!
-Low fuel light not working
-Oil Change light not working

Yes, I do have warranty thru GM dealer, however, they are refusing to pay because most of the cost is under $400.00. Can someone tell me, where to go in Minnesota Area, who can help me with these problems??

Thank you in advance,

GM stopped making the Alero because it's an Oldsmobile. They did away with Oldsmobile. It has nothing to do with them having defective complaints.

If you have a GM extended warranty and they are not covering your problems, you should contact Oldsmobile directly to get assistance. That number is 1-800-442-6537. This is the same # they use for their roadside assistance, but there is a main menu to choose from when you first call and you can get customer support.

Chill Jam -

I was just asking a question, dont have to bite my butt about it. All I knew that couple of the dealership in Minnesota wants to buy my car and all they told me is GM stopped making Aleros. Also, I've heard that Aleros have some engine problems and computer programs, so dealerships are buying it back so customers doesnt know about it.

Don't get me wrong, I DO LOVE my Alero..its just been headache lately, that's all.

And, JT - they said there's nothing they can do and I have to talk to dealership about the problem.

thx

You took me all wrong man. I was just telling you why they got rid of the Alero.
The only engine problems that I know about is the lower intake manifold gasket on the 3.4Ls.
Also I'm just curious as to how your leaking coolant into the transmission?

Wouldn't that be trough the radiator?
