02 SiR loud injectors?

Good morning all,

I have an 02 SiR and I noticed a ticking sound coming from the engine so I took it to Honda and they assured me that this was the injectors and not the valves and that this was normal. Has anyone else noticed this with their 2.0 vtec or is it just me? Is there anything I can do to quiet them down?

Also, I've noticed at around 120kph the car vibrates a lot. I've had the wheels balanced and the vibration is still there. Anyone?

I know I sound picky but I just wanted to get all the small things that are buggiin' me out of the way. Other then that the car is great! I love it!

Maybe you should look into getting a used Lexus. Their engines are very quiet. Honda engines tend to tick very loudly. There is nothing that can be done to stop it. However, you can switch to a heavier oil to quiet it down.

LOL what a way to turn someone around to get rid of a ticking noise. But hey it could work. Buy a used lexus lol
