speed cameras

hey all

just curious can a speed camera get you on a bike?
cause the camera takes the picture from the front while the licence plate is only on the back, comon sence tells me they cant.

camera takes picture from back dude, i replied to you about this once before :)

sensor goes off as vehicle goes past, camera picks it up from the back....

ALTHOUGH, i have occaisionally seen some of the stationary cameras facing to the front of cars, all the ones operated by people who sit in cars all day face back :)

r u sure they r taken from the back, all the radar pictures iv seen are from the front, anyway the camera goes off before u go passed it doent it?

maybe its just a WA thing, cause iv never seen any facing to the back of the cars

they take the photos from behind although they are able to take them from the front.
legislation was passed banning front on photos due to a high powered person having his photo taken while driving his wifes car. she asked for the photo to prove who was driving and got proof of her husband cheating on her. may be an urban myth but that how it was explained way back when they first stopped taking them from the front

oh yeah and all the cameras are soon to be digital as opposed to film which used to run out quickly and therefore let too many people off

gotta post an article from a car mag i've got, but basically it was explaining about people in the UK sawing down, running into, and even shooting speed camera's... now one of these camera's is (supposedly) worth a shitload,lets get the aussies to do this enough times and they just might take them all down.. or raise taxes :(

the govt tried to have bikes have a front plate in NSW. it was rejected because of an added danger to people as it would be a sharp metal object able to cut flesh

lol i guess that could happen.. how fucken ugle, already spoils a bike when you've got 10120941809582105 pieces of plastic and lights hanging off the back as it is!
