1997 Eagle TSi AWD..115k, manual..good condition..Turbo & Intercooler. Limited slip diff, power drivers seat. 4 Additional original tires on alloy rims. Maint History. Second timing belt replaced @ 110,000 miles. Transmission & clutch factory replaced @ 94,000 mi.

He's asking 5500 for it though :x I think its a little steep but i havent looked at the car yet. If its in really good condition (interior, exterior wise) then im considering greatly. What you guys think? Its hard finding a AWD turbo car around here 5spd under 6000.

I would say wait on it, because it happens all the time . You see this good offer and then right when you buy it an even better one comes along. I was going to buy a gsx for 4000 bone stock with 100K but i decided to wait and ended up getting my gst for 2500. I say wait.

thats a good price, go take a look at it and see how good of condition it is in, personally if that was me i would jump on it, i just found one for $6ooo and talked the guy down to $5ooo and bought it. just have to go get it now! anyways, just make sure he has all the paperwork for everything that was done and i wouldnt worry about it. good deal!

your goin to be dissapointed that you made that decision if you ever care to have good drag car... if not then thats a good deal but i definatly would have taken the GSX at that price!

Seems like a good deal, esp. with the clutch and tranny already replaced if he has receipts for those. Timing belt maintenance is another $300+ job that's out of the way now for another few years. That will minimize the maintenance you should have to do to it in the next couple years, at least for the most expensive stuff. Just make sure he has receipts to show you for all of that stuff.

I didnt get the gsx because it was running like crap and i wasnt about to spend 4000 on a car that runs like that. Down here in texas cars go really cheap, especially in SA. I say go to SA and youll find one dirt cheap trust me

yeah it definately depends where you live, up here in ny if you buy a car with over 100k miles its probably going to rust out real bad within the next year or two, assuming the driver had it out in the snow.... thats the only reason i dont like it here, old cars get eaten by salt

i'm in the dallas area and i havent seen any gs-t's or gsx's for under $5k, in good condition that is. if i did find one though, i'd be on it lika hobo on a ham sandwich. as for now it looks like i'm settling for an 98 gs, for now that is........... :naughty:

it sounds like a good deal for around here. check it out and offer him 4800 see if he takes it. i got a car onw time for 200 when the guy was asking 600, its all about haggling the price. if you go in too set on it it shows and they can get whatever they want for it, just act cool about it and start low.

The north east got a large percentage of the AWD DSMs because of the weather. For the same reason, people are less willing to give them up. It took me 6 months to find my car, and that was 5 years ago.
