What does it take to create a successful AUTO FORUM?

Hi,

I run a website called ImportFanatics.com - it used to be called LI Car Clubs.com and I am in the middle of switching the site over to ImportFantics.com it is a new website..but anyway I just created a new forum and I am trying to get poeple to start posting in it. What does it take to make it become a success? Do you guys have any suggestions??
You can take a look at the forum by going to: ImportFanatics (http://www.licarclubs.com) and then clicking on the FORUM link. If anyone has any suggestions or comments to help me out I would REALLY appreciate it.

Nicely done site, but when one goes to your forum, the first subjects potential contributors see, don't have anything to do with cars (see below). Which brings into question, what is the main purpose of the forum or even the site? Don't take this as a slam, it's just an observation.
