it's actualy Royal Blue, and the block guard has holes for the coolant to flow, it's Kinda hard to see in the pic.

the ARP box on the table is closer to the Ford Blue.

how much did the block guard cost u? i wouldnt mind getting one for the ZC

it was 60$ from KMS... you should have gotten it before your build and put it in before you honed it. heard stories of blockguards making the sleved oval... so I got mine and put it in before I had the block bored to make sure it was round & true.

I'm so excited I can't wait to pickup a head and finish this beast. it's gonna be PIMP!

awesome man, i cant wait either, well, if i get a block guard i'm pulling the motor out anyway most likely, i'm gonna build the D15 up for fun and port and polish it big time lol, toss it in and drive that for a week or so while i build the ZC even more for boost, but that wont be for another year or 2, i'm thinking 2 winters from now that might happen

the bearings were like 30$ a set off ebay. and my buddy been running a set for over a year now with no trouble. the header is Wicked header, for a inexpensive header it's Awesome quality. the welds are super nice, nice stainless, thick flanges.

Also get this thos CTR pistons I got USED !!! I got it off a buddy of mine who used them for 1 weekend and spun a rod bearing. then he parted out the motor. got the pistons for cheap and cleaned em up with chemical stripper.

over all I Have been real happy with the build up.
