tweeters

i was woundering i would think the tweeters would b hooked up off the door speakers in my 1991 stealth r/t tt i gotta after market radio in it and the tweeters are not working so i is there somthing wired wrong?

Well did you hook up the wires from the tweeters? If they don't work and they aren't blown, then you probably didn't wire it right. And I doubt that they are wired in with the front door speakers. That would be cheap, and this is not a cheap car basically.

i had the same situation when installing an aftermarket cd player.

the stock unit supports six speakers, whereas the cd player does not.
i left the tweeter wire unhooked, though i considered splicing it onto the front speakers, but wasn't sure exactly if it was a good idea...
