Help!

I have a 1992 Eagle Talon (non-turbo) and it currently needs a new transmission. Next year I'm moving from Pennsylvania to Colorado Springs... the springs are very mountainous. Any suggestions, other than the new transmission, on what I should do to the car to make it ready to drive in CO Springs?

Just a tune-up. Depending on your elevation now, you just want the car running as best it can to give you some power in the mountains.
