I have a 94 camaro and when I reach 45 mphs the the rpms suddenly drops and the car boggs down and shakes. You have to really give it gas to make the rpms go back up. I also hear backfire when I start of moving and when slowing back down to stop. What can this be. Please help

No, it would be a 3.4 L if it's a 94'

Are any of you fluids low? Cause I heard the 3.4's had some problems with head gaskets

Might be ur cat, TPS, tranny even.

Odds are that its ur plugs and wires.

one problem is fixed.. one of the wires were broke on my plugs. fixed the back fire when I put new wires on but my car vibrates and shakes and my rpms are stuck seem like when i get to or above 45 mph.. Do you think something is wrong with my tranny.. can my head gaskets be a problem..
