Here is the AMT '49 Ford, finished it last night. Red-oxide primer, then painted satin black(theres a little shine). Rusted out a little. No motor, and the wheels are from the '31 Ford Tudor kit by Revell. I will be doing a how-to on weathering this week for those who asked. Enough said, heres my '49-

Woww, looks so cool
I like it :)

I especialy like the pinstripping on the trunk, I guess it's a decal but from which kit?
I don't always reply in your threads, but I do like what you do.

Cool! Though this is less like a rat rod and more like something that's been in someone's barn for years. Just stick a fore sale sign in the window.... Very cool though. I love this thing. The pinstriping is a beautiful touch

It's nice to see your bangers as a change from all shiny stuff around here, can't wait to see your tutorial. Keep it up, it's very refreshing work.

That is really slick looking! Wheels, ride height, weathering, it is a change from all the showroom floor rides around here. Great job.

Looks great. You should feather and blend the rust effect more. It looks a little to brushed on.

That looks good though.

I Love doing rust and weathering. So much so I made my own junkyard diorama. Feel free to check it out. If you have any questions, fire away.

Next time I got a little money to spend on some models I`m gonna try to make a parted out rusted out junk yard car . Them two were made to look like they were just in a wreck ...
