I'm in the market to lower my 94' 3000GT SL. How much should I lower it. Eibach springs only offer a 1.3" drop max. Will that be enough? If not, are coilovers available and where can I find them? Thanks

I have the Eibach springs and yes, it's a nice drop. It feels better when I'm turning (better control) and looks better too. The other good thing about it is that it's low but not so low that you scratch going up bumps....I hate cars like that and don't know why people drop it so much. I still go down dips at an angle just to be safe but for the most part, you should be safe. Hey bro, post some pics of your car. I have a '94 SL too. She's a beaut.

Can you put just any lowering springs on the 3KGT or do you need special ones to keep the adjustable suspension feature?

This guy has intrax springs and kept the adjustable suspension feature:

Some springs work with ECS, some don't. Also some don't work if you have a 96+ vr4 with electric sunroof. All coilovers don't work with the ECS. Check the link I posted earlier in this thread from 3sxperformance, to see if certain ones are compatible with ECS.

My ECS still work with the Eibach springs.

Does anybody know if the ground control coilovers at 3sx will work with the ECS?
