BOV venting or back to intake, which is better?

Dear Experts, i have a question about my bov. If I vent the bov pressure out instead of back in the intake would there be a lost in Horsepower/Performance/Boost? which is the best way of setting up my bov?

Yes, recirculate it back into the intake. If you vent your bov to the atmosphere, there will be intake air your ecu is missing, and you will run rich and lose power and kill spark plugs--if your car even runs okay.

The logic is that you are losing air that the ECU thinks is entering the engine, so you run rich between shifts. It doesn't affect performance, but it does affect drivability. Recirculate it.

even if you go with a blow through setup (www.dejontool.com) and there are no ill effects to venting it. it is better to recirculate it anyway because that is less air that has to pass through the air filter. wont be a noticable better tho.

Does that go for the 420a also? I know you guys have the sensor right after the filter. But our sensor is on the intake manifold. So would that make a diffrence for me?

I believe you guys run a MAP sensor (manifold absolute pressure) but correct me if I'm wrong. So you will have no ill effects from running a vented BOV. Its basically like having a VPC stock.
