My 93 appears to be sagging in the back. I recently replaced shocks and noticed the rear spring (some type of fiberglass) is starting to splinter. I am guessing that is the problem. Anyone else had this happen and if so, how easy to fix?

should not be a big job. most corvette specialty places carry them in various weights.

i suggest staying with the stock spring weight.

mga, thanks, I'm in the process of ordering the part this week, looks pretty simple.

the reason i said to stay with the stock spring rate was because of height issues if you use a heavier spring rate. your car may end up sitting much higher than you like/expect.

take note of the original bolt lengths before removal and look for any bushings that may show signs of wear.

I swapped out the rear spring this weekend, was pretty easy. The car drives, rides better than ever...and it looks a lot better sitting nice and level! Thanks for the help!
