Changing O2 sensor

Anyone who has done this, could you please give me some tech. Or a link to some tech thanks

I changed the sensor on my 95 and ended up taking out the threads with the sensor because it was rusted in there so bad. The new sensor screwed in kind of and I just left it there, and it rusted in place so it is fine now. I don't know how to avoid this problem. I think I did try heating it also, but it didn't help.

Its pretty simple, but I would give it a shot with some penetrating oil every day for a few days before you try to back them out. Basically, you pull a little plastic piece that goes crossways on the electrical connection (secures connection) then unplug electric, then using an open end wrench unscrew the O2 sensor. I just replaced my entire cat converter assembly. Of the three I took out, one had damaged threads. But I didn't care, as I was replacing both that 02 sensor and the pipe.
