I am putting an AEM CAI on my 97 Accord EX and I was wondering if it you be advantageous to upgrade the fuel system as well. SOme of the parts I have looked at are the AEM fuel rail, AEM abjustable fuel regulator, B&M fuel gauge. What do you think of these parts? Are they worth it? Are there any other parts you recommend? THanks guys.

that would be a waste of time and money

Why do you you say?

it would be a waste because your stock fuel rail is able to supply way more then enough fuel for just a cold air intake, or any given combo of bolt ons for that matter. you dont need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator because you dont need to raise your pressure for anything. your ecu is very well capable of compensating and adjusting fuel delivery for whatever bolt ons you decide to get. now if you had a big cam or some method of f/i and required a raise in static pressure it would be worth it but just some bolt on's, no. and a fuel gauge is not necessary unless your running high pressures to keep an eye on them. now run a turbo with a 12:1 rising rate and sure a fuel gauge would be nice although still not much use cause you allready know your gonna break the 100psi range.

to add, the B&M fuel pressure gauge is useless for anything other than determining idle pressure... cuz you cant hop out of the car, pop the hood, and check the system pressure while driving, unless you're on a dyno.

an in-cockpit fuel pressure gauge is a much more beneficial system for monitoring fuel pressure.

The above saids it all. If you have some extra money and don't know where to spend, my pocket is a very good investment :D j/k. Anyway, I would upgrade the suspension system if not already did.
