On a trip today and cd stopped. Display showed playing selection #15 and the time it stopped. Completely locked radio up. It was very hot, even the steering wheel controls hot. I tried to find the fuse but nothing in the fusebox remotely resembled radio. When car turned off display still on. 8 hours later when I got home I removed the battery cable and reattached. The radio then allowed me to eject the cd. Now everything works again. Should the cd player get very hot and where is the fuse for the radio? If I take to the dealer now everything appears fine. Thanks. gwysock

Definitely sounds like an issue you should have the dealer take a look at, although in retrospect you probably would have been better off leaving the disc stuck in the player so that you can show the dealer exactly what happened, the reason being that if you just tell the dealer that it happened (after everything went back to normal) and they can't reproduce (or already know about) the problem, they will just tell you that they couldn't find the problem and can't fix it.

The head unit and steering wheel controls do get a bit warm, with the front of the head unit being quite a bit more warmer than the steering wheel controls...but if you're saying that both are so hot to the touch that you can't even press the steering wheel buttons--that's a different story.
