new issue

well, the exhaust is great but now im having issues with it kinda missing at around 1-2 rpm, it seems that it happens right at the sweet spot where ya dont have to apply any more throttle to maintain the speed, like going 50 and just barley pressing the gas pedal it kinda studders until i apply more gas. im thinking fuel filter is clogged but wanted some other imput as the filter is the whole in the tank/ one piece pump deal and is kinda exspensive to be messing around with trial and error. anyones thoughts would be greatly appreciated :) agian 97 dodge ram 1500 sport w/ just shy of 90k on the engine.
