stop looking at porn :)
seriously, try this
http://www.pcpitstop.com/antivirus/AVLoad.asp
Or
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
They are great sites, and have caught more stuff then adaware and spybot could, also get spysweeper, mainly because it warns you of any programs running in the background that are not suppose to be running.

Something is still loading the program at startup. use the run command "msconfig" and remove it (do this all in safe mode). If it's not there, you may have to go hunting in the registry.

Sounds like a browser hijack program. Those suck. There's a program called Hijack This which should help remove it. Also check your Internet Options in your Control Panel and clikc on the Connections tab and make sure there aren't any unwanted dialers in there. Those hijack programs have a tendancy to create dialers with their settings. You can see all the dialers you have in your system in Internet Options.

I was wondering the same thing b.c I have seen that www.coolwebsearch thing get picked up by AdAware. I ran it yesterday actually and it got picked up, so adding the new definitions should take care of it.

also to prevent this in the future dont use internet explorer, instead use a browser liek firefox's. its what i use. after a fresh install of xp due to new hardware, i had no spyware on my comptuer. the onlything foudn was cookies that get there no matter what.

The big problem with Opera, though, is that it's not free.
There is a free version, but you will have a banner ad at the top. It's pretty non-intrusive though. I've even had some decent ads come up that's I've actually clicked on.
