2000 Eclipse Gt vs 2002 Celica GT-S

which car would win in a street race, both are pretty even cars.

cleica gts would win, hands down it rusn a 15, the eclipse runs a 16

i just checked and it would be a drivers race. Eclipse GT runs the 1/4 mile in 15.4 and Celica GT-s at 15.5.

u guoota be kiddnig, the fastest ive ever seen an eclipse run at the track is 16 low, cept the few modded ones that have done swaps with like gs-t's

dude where are you getting that a 2000 GT eclipse runs a low 16, they run mid to low 15s unless they are automatic.

the best ive seen a celica gts run is 14.4 stock, but it is a 02 so that means there are differences in the ecu making the 02- slower so 15.5 is about right for an 02. However the Eclipse does do a low 16.

wait... are you talkin about the 2.4 liter inline 4 eclipse 2000, cuz that one runs a high 16, or are you talkin about the v6 3 liter one?

the v6 engine is
Horsepower: 205 @ 5500
Torque: 205 @ 4500
but thats at a 3100 curb weight...the celica is

horsepower:180
tourqe:130

but thats at 2500 pound curb weight.... most liekely the celica will take it cuz the weight difference
