Is This...?

hey i went to pepboys today and asked if they had a fuel pump for a 90 crx and they pulled it up on computer and told me they had a "universial replacment" for $50 and something else for $160....is the "uni replacment" a fuel pump? that i can just change out with my bad one?:confused:

more than likely the universal replacement you'll have to redo your fuel lines, its probably just an electric pump. I'd look on ebay or the junk yards or get a direct replacement.

well, ebay has the walbro but i dont have a cc to get an ebay account...and all the salvage yards want $75 for THEM to take it out or $50 for ME to take it out...and if it dont work "its not our problem" what they told me...so i couldnt take it back or anything...

and silent when u said redo...u dont just mean take lines off other...put on uni?? ur meaning reroute the whole lines in general??

you dont need a credit card for ebay...if u have a bank account go to paypal.com and set up a account there for the account. thats how i do it and its easier to protect urself that way too....

forgot to mention the shipping wait...im trying to get the fastest solution...im walking now O.o

I've heard the best fuel pump to get is from a honda dealer ship,
because no fuel pump produced at a automotive store is going to outlast a factory fuel pump,
the oem fuel pump goes for years & years,mines lasted for 14 years & I'm pretty sure theres 87 civics or so with stock pumps thats still going,
so if you was to replace that pump with a HONDA dealer ship OEM fuel pump,you may get another 14 years out of it! ( if its a '90)
