Remote control for 2001

I got the car without a remote, Can anyone tell me the model number for a remote that works with the 2001 Aurora. Is it ready to use, meaning the car has already been rigged for it?

You just have to go through a procedure to program it with your car- just search around here for those directions. They have a part # of the transmitter in that auction. You might email that seller and ask if they all used the same part.

All 2001s had keyless entry standard according to the page I looked at.

The GM # for remote of 2001 Aurora is 25695955
